Nancy Branton

Nancy is passionate about coaching people to build meaningful careers, realize enduring success, and contribute to engaging workplaces. She has a unique combination of internal and external career development experience. Her 30+ years of internal experience spans career development, human resources, leadership, talent management, and coaching experience as a Human Resources Director, Assistant Director, and Human Resources Development Consultant/Coach. In addition, she had 8 years experience as a coach trainer, 15+ years as career coach, and 5 years as outplacement coach.

Since 2010, she has served as CEO for Workplace Coach Institute ( At Adler Graduate School she is an Adjunct Faculty Member in their Career Development Specialization. At Bethel University she is a Leadership & Career Coach to MBA students. At Institute for Life Coach Training, she is a faculty member. Since 2001, she has served as President of People Potential Group® ( where she provides career development, leadership, team, conflict management, and social emotional intelligence.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology and is a graduate of the Institute for Life Coach Training. Nancy is an ICF-accredited Professional Certified Coach, CCE Board Certified Coach and has earned numerous certifications for career, leadership and life coaching. She is qualified and experienced in administering 100+ assessments and is regarded as an assessment guru.

Prestigious awards Nancy has received are the Jules Kerlan Award for Lifetime Achievement in Career Development from the Minnesota Career Development Association (MCDA), and the Outstanding Service Award from the Twin Cities Human Resources Association (TCHRA).
