Daryl Israel

Mr. Daryl Israel Jr is a native of Charlotte, NC and holds a BA from Montreat College. In 2015 he became the President/Founder of Joshua’s Werk, a non-profit organization that charter array of services for the unemployed, under-employed or those that are not in the right career path. He serves his clients by offering individuals and small businesses affordable career coaching and recruitment tools with a concentration on an environment that is diverse and inclusive.
In 2010, Mr. Israel became the Co-owner of Relational Link Marketing and Promotions where he served as the Social Media Strategist helping small businesses communicate their brand and culture. He also became the Co-Owner of Trinity Care of the Carolinas, a residential treatment facility for children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional challenges for over 6 years. Mr. Israel is currently an Employee Relations Advisor for Bank of America. In his role he consults managers and employees on issues regarding attendance performance and policy violations, also provides clarification on policies around bereavement, job abandonment, federal/state laws regarding meal/rest periods, leaves of absences, etc.
Prior to his current roles, Mr. Israel lead mortgage servicing and customer service operations for 10 years with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, HMBI, and Round-Point Mortgage that specialized in culture development, risk management, and career development. With all of the experience and expertise, he has over 20 years’ experience in career development and trainings.
He enjoys participating in civic and philanthropic endeavors including the Arthritis Foundation (Board Chair, Advocate), Men’s Shelter Charlotte (Board, Philanthropy Committee), Bank of America Community Volunteer (Black Professional Group, Disability Advocacy Network), United Way Young Leaders (Networking Chair), and Junior Chamber International (Charlotte Chapter President, Executive Board Member, and Chaplain). On his journey of community outreach, he lead a Job Support Ministry for New Vision Deliverance Ministries, provided weekly job tips on the Blog Talk Radio show, “Word Empowerment Radio” featuring the late Pastor Charles D. Thomas Jr. Mr. Israel continues to make a positive difference in the community as he brings awareness locally, statewide and nationally of the needs that affects the people and the economic growth.
