Andrea Holyfield

Andrea Holyfield is a career counselor and women's empowerment coach in the metro-Atlanta area. She is in her second year as president of the Georgia Career Development Association (www.thegcda.org). She brings to the organization an undeniable passion for career development and a diverse background in career counseling practice, working in non-profit, higher-education and private practice. Andrea owns and operates a career counseling practice where she assists individuals in professional transitions (www.LiveWellCPS.com).

Andrea believes that we all have a space that we are destined to occupy and that when we do not fully LIVE in that space we experience discomfort. This discomfort can manifest itself as stress, depression or even physical pain. She enjoys working with individuals who are looking to make real changes in their personal and professional lives.

Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Kent State University and master’s degree in professional counseling as well as an advanced certificate in Women’s Studies from Georgia State University. When Andrea is not working she blogs for the American Counseling Association and enjoys time with her family.

Love using the new Drive assessment with my clients. The report content flows well. The formatting of the Personal Skill Chart is very detailed and easy to interpret. I particularly find the Strategic Skill Profile that showcases the client's dominant skills a useful tool to use in personal branding. September 2018
